From the Principal
Welcome to James Hart School- Home of the Panthers! James Hart School serves the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students of District 153 and is proud to offer a diverse academic program that is engaging and intellectually stimulating. Upon their graduation, James Hart students will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in high school and will have been exposed to a curriculum that offers rigorous core classes and a diverse selection of courses in areas such as Art, Creative Media Arts, Health, Industrial Arts, Music, and STEM. We are committed to providing our students with the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive fine arts program including band, choir, and orchestra, and all of our students have the opportunity to participate in a multitude of athletic and extra-curricular activities to further enrich their middle-school experience. The faculty and staff of James Hart School are dedicated professionals whose commitment to the intellectual, emotional, and social development of our students is of primary importance. I encourage you to reach out to your studentís teachers should you ever have any questions about their performance in school. You may also contact me, Mrs. Ugo, or Mr. Ugo if there is anything we can do to assist you in the educational development of your student. Go Panthers!
